North Star Gameland Hunting Preserve offers some of
the finest Iowa hunts for big game hunting in the United
States. Owned and operated by the Hinegardner family
for three generations, Iowa's North Star Gameland Hunting
Preserve is one of the oldest private hunting game ranches
providing big game hunts in the United States. Here
you’ll find reasonable costs for our hunts, comfortable
accommodations and some of the best whitetail deer hunts
and other big game hunting around Iowa and the United
States.

North
Star Gameland Hunting Preserve is located between Cedar
Rapids and Marshalltown, Iowa. Cut by the Iowa River,
our scenic guided hunting preserve consists of 750 acres
of high, rugged bluff country, dense forest and bottomland.
The terrain is spectacular in its beauty and provides
you with a challenging, exciting hunts. Our Iowa hunting
guides will help you fill that dream of bagging a trophy
animal.
Although
hunts at North Star is challenging, it’s not for
lack of big game. From Mouflon hunts and Hawaiian rams
hunts to wild boar hunts, whitetail deer hunts, elk
hunts, bison hunts North Star’s big game animals
are top caliber and wild. Whether you hunt with a bow,
rifle or shotgun; you’re assured a rewarding hunting
experience. We can also accommodate disabled
hunters, with disabled guided hunts from ground blinds.
Though our cabins are not currently handicapped accessible,
we’re always willing to find handicapped accommodations
at one of our nearby hotels.
While at North Star you can stay in one of two cabins.
Both cabins come complete with bedding and a fully equipped
kitchen. If you don’t want to cook, there are
some great restaurants in the area.
Prices are reasonable; you pay only for your accommodations
and the game you take (of course, wounded game must
be follow up.) |
